Work In Progress -- Follow The Leader

Playing around with another little one.  I don't want to start a bigger one right now as I don't have time to finish it at the moment.  My painting time is going to be severely limited to non existent for the next couple of months, so I am just doing little ones right now for something to do.

A Familiar Landmark Here

There is a mountain here that I am sure has been painted and photographed a million times.
It is known as Tetakawi Mountain and has been filmed in several movies as well over the years, such as Catch 22 and Zorro to name a couple.
A few weeks ago while I was hanging out at an art show I couldn't resist taking a few more photos of this mountain.
After looking at my photos I decided I liked one of them and decided to paint it.

So here it is.

Finishing Up The Odds and Ends

I have had a couple of paintings on the go here for quite awhile that never seem to get finished.  They just keep getting set aside while I finish other more pressing things.
Yesterday I decided it was time to look at them, touch them up a bit and call it quits.
For some reason my camera has decided to take photos which are very dark this morning.  Monday morning rebellion perhaps.  I will have to check and see what settings I have managed to change somewhere along the line.

Anyway here are the finished paintings.  Both are for sale.
